The shared holiday photo album, revealed once you are home
One or two weeks together, in the sun or in the mountains, and thousands of photos scattered across as many phones. Back home, everyone keeps their own, you all promise to “make a shared album”, and it never happens.
Time to Flash turns every phone into a disposable camera for the whole holiday. The event has a start date, an end date and a reveal date, and reminders nudge everyone during the trip. Once you are all home, the shared album is revealed in one go: the holiday lasts one more evening.
- For one or two weeks
- Reminders during the trip
- Revealed after you get back

Why a shared disposable camera suits a holiday with friends
A shared album that actually exists
No more collecting everyone’s photos by hand after the trip. They all land in the same album as the holiday goes on, and nobody has to play archivist.
Photos chosen over time
With a limited number of shots for the whole trip, everyone saves their photos for the moments that matter. The result feels like a travel journal, not a camera roll full of identical sunsets.
The holiday, one evening longer
The reveal arrives once normal life has resumed. Opening the album together takes you back for a few minutes, and gives everyone a great reason to call each other.
Three steps, nothing to install
Create the event for the whole trip
Enter the departure day, the return day and the reveal date. Send the link to the group before you leave: everyone opens it on their phone, no app needed.
Limited shots and reminders
Choose up to 15 shots per person for the trip, and top up if the holiday deserves it. Reminders are sent during the holiday so the photos are not all taken on day one.
Reveal on the Sunday evening after you return
Schedule the reveal a few days after you get back, for example on Sunday evening. Every photo appears at once, ready to download or print.

Ideas for a great shared holiday album with friends
The one-photo-a-day rule
With 10 to 15 shots for a week, suggest a simple rule: one photo per person per day, no more. The album then builds up day by day, instead of being used up on the first night.
Photographer of the day
Every morning, draw a name for the person in charge of the day’s group photo. The role rotates, and everyone ends up on the other side of the lens at least once.
The journeys
Filling up the car, the station, the ferry, the suitcase that will not close: journeys are often forgotten, yet they tell the start of the adventure. Save one shot for the day you leave, and one for the way home.
Meals on the terrace
The morning market, the table laid outside, the local dish nobody can pronounce. Over one or two weeks, meals set the rhythm of the holiday and make lovely series.
Same spot, different days
Photograph the same view (the pool, the terrace, the end of the beach) at different points in the trip. At the reveal, the series shows the holiday passing, the light changing and the sunburn appearing.
The big day trip
A boat trip, a hilltop village, a hike to a lake: day trips are when the group stays together. Remember the group photo in front of the view, taken by everyone on their own phone.
The last night
The final dinner, usually longer than the others, deserves its own shot. Remind the group from the start of the trip to keep one photo back for that evening.
The travel journal
After the reveal, order prints straight from the album, or download the photos to make a holiday photo book. With the “Disposable” film and its date stamp, every picture is dated like a real travel journal.

Our tips for your shared holiday album
How many shots? For one week, 12 to 15 photos per person make a rich album without overload. For two weeks, start with 15 and plan a top-up halfway through if the group wants more.
When should you reveal? Not on the day you get back, while everyone is unpacking and catching up on sleep. The following Sunday evening, or a few days later, the reveal lands just as the nostalgia kicks in. Why not arrange a reunion drink that same evening and look through the album together.
Which plan? Holidays with friends often involve 5 to 15 people. Up to 5 is free; up to 10 costs €1.99; up to 30, €4.99. It is a one-off payment for the whole trip, with no subscription.

Frequently asked questions
How do you share holiday photos with friends?
The easiest way is a shared album that everyone adds to during the trip. With Time to Flash, each person opens the link, takes photos in their browser, and they all go into the same private album, revealed once you are home.
Can the event last a week, or two?
Yes. You set a start date and an end date that cover the holiday, then a reveal date. Reminders are sent to participants during the trip.
What if someone uses up all their shots in three days?
You can top up. To avoid it in the first place, suggest a rule from day one, such as “one photo a day”.
Can we still take normal photos as well?
Of course. Time to Flash does not replace your phone’s camera: it adds a shared album, chosen and revealed together. Your usual photos stay in your own gallery.
Can we make a holiday photo book?
Yes. After the reveal, every photo can be downloaded to put a book together, and you can order prints from the album. The album stays online for six months and you are warned before it is deleted.
