The next-day reveal: the real magic moment

Discovering the photos the day after the wedding
Discovering the photos the day after the wedding

Hiding the photos until the next day recreates the wait for developed film, and gives you a second big moment.

In the past, you dropped your film at the lab and waited a week before seeing your photos. That wait was part of the pleasure. The “delayed reveal” recreates exactly that, and changes the way people experience the party.

During the party: nobody has their nose in their screen

When photos appear live, the party turns into a news feed: people scroll instead of dancing. By hiding the pictures until the next day, your guests take their photos… then put their phone away and enjoy themselves. You get a party that was lived, not commented on in real time.

The next day: a second big moment

When you wake up, everything is revealed at once. It becomes a ritual: you discover the day through your guests’ eyes, those moments that even your photographer couldn’t see (we talk about it in your guests see what the photographer doesn’t). The emotion of the wedding plays out a second time, once things have calmed down.

“The best moment was Sunday morning, coffee in hand, scrolling through the photos together.” Tom & Inès · 2026

How to set it up well

Set the reveal for the next morning rather than the middle of the night: everyone is rested, and it creates a real ritual. That is what Time to Flash lets you do: the photos stay hidden like a film being developed, then open at the moment you choose. And it is one of the smallest items of the day (we go through it all in wedding photo budget).
